One ski had the golden glint - the Elan Chainsaw and four took silver - the Dynastar 6th Sense Slicer, K2 Revival, Rossignol S3 and Salomon Twenty Twelve.
Target skier
This skier is probably younger and likes the pipe and the park, but we were also looking for skis that handle well in the powder and some do. With that versatility, these skis have represented some of the best value buying over recent years. The skier may also ski for a living and will more than likely be a traveller looking for some versatility and performance at home in the northern hemisphere powder.
